Okay. Went to
Haagen Dazs at Novena Square Velocity again today haha. Daddy had
Cookie Crunch with 2 scoops of Vanilla ice cream. He said that the chocolate fudge and the cookies were a tad too sweet. Mummy had
Royal Monte Carlo. It was with Chocolate and Coffee ice creamShe said it was good. Hers was waffle cone bits at the bottom instead of cookies. Gen and I shared
Banana Split with Green Tea, Belgian Chocolate and Strawberry ice cream. We added 2 bananas from Gen's bag. LOL. Monkeys, we are. Since the Banana split was more focused on the ice cream, it tasted so much better. :)
In total, it was around 58 dollars.
Royal Monte Carlo... Rated 9/10
Cookie Crunch... Rated 7/10Banana Split... Rated 8/10P.S. I am not rich lar. Mummy had vouchers so we went there. :)
As for Mothers' Day dinner, Daddy, Mummy and I ate at
Zhou's Kitchen by Tung Lok Group at Square 2, Novena. Appetiser was
Keropok. Can't go wrong with that since it's my favourite. :) First dish was
Ngoh Hiang. It was not bad. A tad too strong of parsley taste but nonetheless, it was good. The skin was crispy and the meat was just nice. Not too salty. Second dish was
Spinach with Century Egg, Salted Egg and Normal Egg. It tasted really good. It wasn't too salty nor too sweet. The spinach was soft and tasty. Very appetising. Next up was
Steamed Crab Glutinous Rice. The glutinous rice was quite good. But the steamed crab had a bitter taste and most of the crabby taste was absorbed by the rice so it was quite bland. Not worth it... Then there was
Pork Ribs. Nothing fantastic. Tasted like Sweet and Sour Pork but it is Pork Ribs. Another bad dish. The last dish was
Ee-fu Noodles. It was not bad but presentation wise, it looks pretty plain. It lacked other ingredients. I think more spring onion would do it good.
In total, it costed about 78 dollars.
Keropok no need to rate.. I love it too much. :)
