I seldom blog about something so political but oh well here goes nothing...
I feel that adding seatbelts alone in school buses wouldn't solve a thing. I mean kids nowadays are really not stupid at all. I am sure they know how to unbuckle the seat belts. Especially so when the driver is concentrating on driving. Having an attendant to scream at the kids plus a seatbelt would not be good for the parents' pockets. Besides, kids tend to be naughty and go against the attendant too! I guess the most effective way is to get the drivers to drive safely and NOT speed and well, educate the children to belt up or hold onto the railings. Just look at those children in the school buses. They stand up and walk around. Well, kids are just hyperactive. A belt can't make them sit still...
I wish petrol were free... =D
