Firstly... the food... :)

Yee Mian
Spare Ribs (Pai Gu Wang)
Fried Spinach (Qing Chao Bo Cai)
Hotplate Tofu (Tian Ban Dou Fu)Total cost:
S$29/-
Comments:
The
Yee Mian had a slight tinge of bitter taste due to the excessive black soy sauce added. Well the sauce was really black in colour. There were prawns, sotong, fish cake and vegetables together with the yee mian. Nothing fantastic.
4/10.
The
Spare Ribs was not too bad. Very little bones and fats. Lots of meat. The sauce was not too sweet, just nice. Garnished with sesame seeds and keropok. The keropok was
lau hong. Honestly, the keropok was lousy but that's not the main dish so I shall close one eye. Tender spare ribs, not too sweet.
7/10.
The
Spinach was not that good. I think it was a little bit overcooked and too soft. Not salty enough. The serving was really very generous though. Oh and the spinach sort of lost its taste, possibly due to overcooking.
3/10.
The
Hotplate Tofu was not fantastic either. Okay honestly, I don't like ginger and there was ginger inside. Besides that, the sauce was not tasty enough. Not sweet enough. There were only like 2 or 3 prawns. Not very generous with the prawns. Overall, not enough taste and not very appetising.
3/10.
Verdict: That explains why this coffeeshop is so much less crowded than the one which sells seafood. :) You really should go somewhere else. Like
Hong Kong Street Restaurant opposite Novena Church. I promise to review that restaurant when I go there again. :)
Wah lau... the stupid uncle sitting at the next table speaks like this... "
kan ni na...................
kan ni na buey" So annoying. Just because he doesn't win his 4D. -_-"
Watched
What Happens in Vegas. Nice and funny. I am not going to review a movie. That's Shawn's job. :)
